I thought with November and Thanksgiving coming that it would be fun to have a gratitude challenge in order to help us realize all the good that we have been given and the good that we can do for other people. Get Your family and friends to join you and hold each other accountable!!

So here is a list for the next 30 days.  If you have any ideas to add make sure you leave a comment because I would love to hear!

Start a journal and write what you are grateful every day.  This will also be a great place for some of the days to follow!

Give someone you know a compliment

Leave a note of encouragement somewhere out in public for someone to find

Call a parent or grandparent

Every time you have a negative thought think of something you are grateful for

Make a list of 5 bad things that happened to you in the past that you are grateful for now

Forgive someone that hurt you and think of a reason that you are grateful for them

Thank someone who has had a major impact on your life

Think of 3 things that you like about your job

List 5 things you are grateful about yourself

Take a hot shower or bath and just breathe

Smile at everyone you walk past today

Think about your body and be grateful for how strong it is

Think about a memory you are grateful for

Compliment a stranger

Help someone

Think of a place you are grateful for

Tell someone you work with thank you for making your job a little better

Tell your best friend how much they mean to you

Think of something beautiful you saw this past week

Do a secret act of kindness

Think about where you live and 5 things you like about it

Think of an unexpected blessing you are grateful for

What is a big change that happened to you that you are grateful for?

Think of a smell that reminds you of something special

Think of something in nature that you appreciate

Think of an experience that made you stronger

What abilities do you have that you are grateful for?

What is someone that you use every single day that you could not live with out

Read the journal you wrote in all month

Taking just a few minutes out of your day to make yourself or someone else feel better can change your everyday thinking. making you happier and more willing to continue to focus on the good instead of the bad. so give this 30 day gratitude challenge a try and let me know what you think!
